First think of this, it takes a plethora of things to make your body function on a daily basis. From the both the voluntary and involuntary breathing in of replenishing oxygen, the involuntary pump of your heart, and your miraculous brain to the billions of cells in your body. The point is that the fact that you are able to read this blog post, proves that you live in abundance. Your life alone is something that goes beyond measure, on top of that you have the opportunity to experience life. Looking around you, you can see abundance in many areas if not all. Many people, many transactions, love everywhere, nature's grass,,trees plants, animals, air and water. Granted there are pitfalls along this path called life, I'm not going to lie things can and will get rough. However, we must properly be prepared for these experiences. Here are a few tips on how to protect your abundance.
Setting Anchors
A friend who recently took up paddle boarding and kayaking
told me it's really opened up his eyes to dealing with water currents, and the importance of anchors, and good health and some endurance. Similar to a boat left without an anchor, we can also be taken adrift without any sense of direction. Setting anchors provides security and a solid foundation that allows you to be on control as to where you want to be. Personal anchors are valuable priorities in your life that you build around, such as family, freedom, health, etc...It confuses me how many people easily buy into working a job that doesn't support their anchors. It's an easy perspective that goes unnoticed, that is the idea of working with the purpose to live, but instead the majority live to work. It's important to set these anchors in your life and work towards building around these valuable anchors and foster their growth. Another point is that if the vision you have of abundance does not include these anchors, then what focus would you have. Another point is that the subconscious mind can sabotage your goals with self doubt, if you aren't focused on them enough and on trusting in the outcome.
Leveraging Your Worth
This
concept applies to all areas in life, from work, to relationships.
You must ensure and protect these anchors because they are the
valuable areas in your life that will keep you grounded when the sea
of life gets rough and choppy.
Life
is a numbers game, from the number of days in a week, to the times
you fall and get back up. It's important that you create numerous
options and opportunities in your life. From multiple streams of
income to realizing that there are 8 billion people on this earth,
creating options can serve you well in your abundance. Our limiting
beliefs can prevent us from meeting new friends, creating new
business opportunities, among other things. It's important to
practice your abundance muscles by staying connected to the level of
abundance that is constantly around you. This comes in the form of
gratitude, which highlights the everyday things that we take for
granted.
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate trouble, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly". ~ Buddha
Let go, and Let grow
Two
things cannot occupy the same physical space at the same time. As
obvious as this may sound this is something that is misunderstood by
many when it comes to abundance. Bad relationships, unpleasant jobs,
invaluable habits, etc...are many things that we tend to hold onto
while trying to attract new opportunities into our lives. In other
words, some people tend to hold onto toxic relationships with the
hope that a new healthy relationship will suddenly appear. The truth
is that in order for the new to come into existence we must get rid
of the old...this is what's called the vacuum law of prosperity.
Practice
developing your letting go muscle, I challenge you to act in
abundance and give away something old that no longer serves you.
Whether it be clothing, computer, bike, etc...something that's
collecting dust and that you no longer use but that someone else can
find use in. Start there and work your way up to the other areas in
your life. This will create space for bigger and better things to
come your way.
It's
when we being let go that we will begin to grow.
