Neil deGrasse Tyson tells us what astonishes him most about our
universe: that the atoms comprising our bodies are literally made of
star-dust. “So that when I look up at the night sky and I know that
yes, we are part of this universe, we are in this universe, but
perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the universe
is in us,” he says. “There is a level of connectivity” –
which is what most of us want in life: to feel connected, relevant.
